>confront< Street Combat Package Testimonial |
Dear Andrew,
I'm 41 with 20 years of (martial arts) experience and focus more and more on simple gross motor skill-based systems. I happen to be a self defense instructor and I have found everything I like in your material. Sound principles first off: awareness, avoidance and de-escalation, tactical stance.
Then if the threat persists: an offensive mind set, simple tools (open hand strikes, elbows), reality check (everything). Thanks again for your great work. Looking forward to watching Vol. 2!
Best wishes.

| Christmas Car Jacking Counter-Attack |
Most of us are caught up in the stress of the holidays, focused on getting the perfect gift for everyone on our lists. This usually means frequent visits to shopping malls.
Shopping mall parking lots are ideal hunting grounds for opportunistic predators. Unfortunately your holiday stress and your focus on your lengthy to-do list make you a perfect target for potential car jackers. Here’s a tip to keep you safe in your car:
First, when parking your car, remember to turn your wheels to the extreme right. Assuming you don’t see anything or anyone suspicious when you return to your vehicle, you’ll get in your car and start the engine.
This is the moment the predator is waiting for as you’re a sitting duck. If someone attempts to ruin your day by threatening you with bodily harm outside your window; quickly put the car in reverse gear and slam on the accelerator.
Since your front wheels are turned to the right, this will in effect run him over or trap him between your car and an adjacent vehicle or wall - a very effective tactic which will allow you to then escape the scene of the potential assault.
